Online study: PSSD in women

“We’re a research team from Witten, Germany and we are looking to expand the research done on sexual dysfunction following antidepressant therapy.

Most research about sexual dysfunction is directed towards men as women’s hormone levels are deemed irregular because of their cycle – but how is it that a bodily function that roughly 50% of the world’s population have is called ‘irregular’? And might there be a correlation between a woman’s cycle and her symptoms regarding her PSSD?

With this online study, we’re hoping to gain a deeper understanding of women’s cycles and possible changes in their PSSD symptoms’ character, intensity and the impairment experienced through the symptoms over a cycle’s length.

The study is conducted via formr.org.

Participants are asked to fill out a daily questionnaire over one cycle’s length.

As we need to verify our data with biometric measures, owning or willing to purchase a basal thermometer is required to participate.

Thank you so much in advance for your help and participation! Together, we can raise awareness and keep working on understanding PSSD a little better every day.”
